Professor Tseng Sheng-Yuan, Director of the Department of Information Management, stated that students in the Industry–Academia Collaboration Program are required to undertake industry–academia internships at companies on a regular basis and can only return to campus for classes during their limited available time. Their ability to achieve such outstanding average scores demonstrates the strong learning atmosphere within the class, as well as positive interaction and healthy competition among peers. The department hopes that recognizing students with the Book Award will encourage more students in the Industry–Academia Collaboration Program to continue developing their expertise in their respective professional fields. These outstanding overseas Chinese students not only excel academically during their studies but will also graduate with solid practical experience in information management and a strong work ethic, becoming highly competitive international talent in industries across the Asia-Pacific region.
